This is a sampling of some of my work at the Tennessee State Museum
Object Photography
One of my responsibilities was to photograph and/or scan collections objects for digitization, and edit and upload those images to the online catalog. It order to accomplish this, I set up a new studio space for in-house object photography and scanning, complete with a 55" screen for image preview and editing purposes. In total, I was able to image over 600 items in my 14 months with the museum.

Field Services & Traveling Exhibits
In addition to my Curatorial duties, I was tasked with helping to develop of the museum’s field services program to serve other museums across Tennessee. After an initial planning stage, we were able to conduct site visits to over 57 museums in 29 counties in 7 months. This also included sites visits and check presentations to organizations that received the 2023-24 TSM Capital Maintenance and Improvements Grant.
In addition to site visits, I also assisted with the re-development of the museum's traveling exhibit program. Our first exhibit was a traveling version of the museum's award-winning Building a Bright Future: Black Communities and Rosenwald Schools in Tennessee exhibit.

Printing Demonstrations
Based on my prior experience with printing collections, I was asked to evaluate and inventory the museum's collection of printing equipment. I was also tasked with creating a proposal for the redesign of the museum's printing exhibit and delivering educational demonstrations on the museum's replica 1790's Common Press.
