Christopher Taylor House

In 2018 the Heritage Alliance took on the interpretation and education of the Christopher Taylor House. I was tasked with designing text panels for the structure as well as building benches for regular guests and special programs.

In addition to the interpretive panels, I also create a photo album that showed the evolution of the site as well as the demolition and reconstruction of the Christopher Taylor House itself.

Late 1700s Barn Loom and Weaving Education

In the spring of 2019 we made the decision to re-designate our late 1700's barn loom as an educational artifact and relocate it from the Jonesborough Washington County Museum to the Christopher Taylor House. The loom was disassembled, relocated, and reassembled with the help of a local weaver. She then re-warped and set up the loom to be fully functional for educational demonstrations.
